Applied Movement Therapies: Integrating Kinesiology Taping and IASTM
for Clinical Practice

September 27th & 28th

Join us for an engaging seminar on kinesiotaping techniques designed to support muscle function, reduce pain, and enhance recovery. Taught by an experienced practitioner with advanced training in dynamic taping methods, this hands-on class will explore practical applications for athletic performance, injury rehab, and everyday function. Perfect for healthcare providers, fitness professionals, and anyone curious about how strategic taping can support the body’s natural healing processes.

Course Description: This comprehensive 12-hour course provides healthcare and rehabilitation professionals with the scientific rationale and practical skills required to effectively use kinesiology taping and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). The curriculum is designed to deepen participants’ understanding of neurophysiology, biomechanics, and the role of soft tissue interventions in movement optimization, pain modulation, and functional recovery. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, evidence-based practice, and hands-on clinical application.

Learning Objectives:

1. Describe the neurophysiological and mechanical effects of kinesiology taping and IASTM on the human body.

2. Demonstrate proficiency in applying taping and IASTM techniques for a range of musculoskeletal and neurological presentations.

3. Assess and determine appropriate intervention strategies based on clinical presentation and movement dysfunction.

4. Critically evaluate and apply current research findings relevant to taping and IASTM.

5. Integrate taping and IASTM into comprehensive treatment plans targeting postural alignment, proprioception, and functional performance.
